I’m honored to be endorsed by four Santa Barbara County Supervisors: Joan Hartmann, Bob Nelson, Laura Capps, and Steve Lavagnino. These leaders come from different regions and perspectives across our County, but they share a belief that the Auditor-Controller’s Office deserves experienced, professional leadership focused on transparency, accountability, and responsible modernization. Grateful to be featured alongside my family in Santa Barbara Neighbors June 2026 magazine. Reading through it honestly made me slow down and reflect on how much of life is built little by little over time — family, friendships, community, public service, and the places that shape us along the way. From growing up on the Mesa, to meeting Michelle, to now raising Natalia here in Santa Barbara County, I feel incredibly thankful for the people, experiences, mentors, coworkers, friends, and community that helped make this chapter of life possible. Santa Barbara has given my family so much, and that gratitude is a big part of what motivates me in both life and public service. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. And thank you to Santa Barbara Neighbors for sharing our story.

The Rolling Sign has been making the rounds across Santa Barbara County lately. From stoplight conversations to surprise sightings from old friends in town, this van has sparked way more smiles and conversations than I ever expected. Appreciate every wave, honk, and “Hey Kyle, I saw your sign driving around!”

The Accountability You Deserve means strong oversight, greater transparency, and responsible leadership you can trust with County finances. That’s the leadership I’m ready to bring on Day 1. Another great day out knocking on doors, talking with voters, and explaining why this race matters. Today we walked my childhood neighborhood — the Mesa. Grateful for the friends who joined me, and especially thankful for my wonderful wife for all the love, encouragement, and support that fuels this campaign behind the scenes every single day. These conversations at the doorstep really matter. They’re personal, thoughtful, and a reminder that people truly care about transparency, accountability, and good government.
